Jennifer M. Lesslie, O.D.

Dr. Jennifer Lesslie resides in Mt. Pleasant, SC with her wonderful husband and three precious children. She graduated from USC with a BS in Biology in 1995. Continuing her education, she graduated Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in 1999. She is an active member of the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society, American Optometric Association, and the South Carolina Optometric Association.

Dr. Lesslie has been in private practice for over ten years. Her specialties include pediatric examinations, contact lenses, ocular diseases and pre/post-operative care for refractive surgeries, including LASIK.

Dr. Lesslie received a Certificate of Excellence from Vision Service Plan for her commitment to high quality care and services.

J. Taylor Prchal, OD

Dr. J. Taylor Prchal (Per-hall) is the newest addition to Lesslie Vision Care.   He is excited to join the practice with Dr. Lesslie and her staff and eager to provide excellent optometric care to his patients. 

Dr. Prchal is a native of Albany, Georgia and the fifth optometrist in his immediate family.  Prior to leaving Georgia for college, Dr. Prchal was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America earning the high achievement of Eagle Scout.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.  Throughout his time at Virginia Tech, Dr. Prchal was a very involved leader of Young Life at a local high school.

Upon deciding to follow in the family footsteps, Dr. Prchal attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.  He graduated from SCO in June 2010.   It was in Memphis that he met his wife, Claire, and they decided to begin their married life in Charleston.

Currently, Dr. Prchal and his wife live on Daniel Island with their Great Dane named Walter.    They are very involved members of East Cooper Baptist Church.  In their spare time they enjoy spending time with their church family and going to the beach, cooking, volleyball and cycling.
