With over 20 years of experience in optometry, Dr. Lesslie is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her community. A Charleston native, she grew up in Mount Pleasant before earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry, graduating Cum Laude.
Dr. Lesslie’s expertise spans primary eye care, eye disease management, cataract and refractive surgery co-management, and contact lens fittings. She has a special interest in diagnosing and treating dry eye disease, helping patients find relief from discomfort and irritation.
As a dedicated professional, Dr. Lesslie is an active member of the South Carolina Optometric Physicians Association, the Coastal Carolina Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Lesslie enjoys spending time with her husband and three teenage children. She loves being outdoors, relaxing at the beach, boating, and taking long walks with friends. She and her family also enjoy traveling and spending time in the mountains near Asheville.
